If you are interested in some ways to stop getting rejection, you might get something out of this article.
My first month in network marketing i probably encountered more rejection than everyone else in my company. But i also hired more people that month than everyone else[at my level].The funny thing is, that i did not feel the rejection from the people who had rejected the offer, because i was too busy working with the people who had accepted the offer.
Over time i really saw the effects that getting rejection was having on my team.So i decided to teach them a few ways to solve this problem. The first problem that i quickly identified is that they [my team] were doing all the talking instead of asking important questions and listening to what the other person had to say.
And instead of having the prospects tell them a little bit about themselves, they were busy talking about how great the compensation plan is and how they would do so well.So they were getting rejected on a regular.
This to me was a recipe for failure, and it was not going down on my watch.I had read books on the subject so i quickly started training them on "how to avoid getting rejection by asking important questions", and how to pay close attention to what the other person is telling you. I even did a training course that lasted for two hours, answering questions with questions.
The person who is asking the questions is usually the person who is in charge of the conversation.
And in a situation where you are trying to recruit or sell someone, you need to know what is going on in their minds before you start giving away everything in your house. Aah, which brings me to my next point; the second way to avoid getting rejection.
Ask them if they know someone.
Another way to avoid getting rejection is to go after who they know.Just think for a second, it is harder to get rejected if you're asking them to lead you to someone they might know that fits the description.
The last thing is to be constantly building relationships and expanding your influence and credibility.
This can be accomplished by writing books or blogs and teaching others what you have learned.Over time you will build a great [warm market] list of people to work with and avoid getting rejection from the people who you did not pre qualify.
